In Memory is the true story of my great-grandmother, Rose Kurek. This short animated documentary was my thesis film for my animation degree at San Francisco State University, but it's also a story I've been wanting to tell for quite some time. Several years of research, a few months of almost non-stop animation work, and a little help from my friends all came together to tell this touching story of loss, relentlessness, and resilience.
